A thought I came up with for using the units that I hardly seem to see.

I would just like to say that if and when this list ever gets into Close Combat...you're going to need more dice.

Maybe I'm going the math wrong but this list seems like it is under on points possibly (Also, the mis-numbered units are throwing me for a loop).

Hypothetically, he could go for ridiculous, drop the Skyclaws (or Swift Claws), associated Wolf Priest, all of the Plasma Pistols, all of the Runic Armor and afford a Land Raider Crusader...

Still, I think it would be cooler to have 2 Land Raiders filled to the brim with Blood Claws and Wolf Priests. That only comes out to 1255, plenty enough to fill in with Swiftclaws and Skyclaws...I like this idea...

You seem to be lacking in high strength A, but I suppose that many Krak grenades will still be lethal.

I don;t think you really need Transports for the blood claws. There are so many models in this army, that you'll take casualties, but by the time you assault, you'll still need "moar dice."

I would have tried to stick Lukas the trickster in there somewhere, personally.

I realy am having problems with Lukas, he is a lot of points for a Meh figure.
If I were realy going to make real changes I would be to take out Ulric for somthing else. I don't know If i will field the list, but you never know.

I did not see Lukas but he seems to be very over priced. I use the Ulric the Slayer figure all of the time. 1 time as Ulric and he stunk. Now it's a generic WP with a cool figure.

I agree with this. You need a crusader or two. If you walk them, then your going to get shot up and lose a lot of effectiveness when you charge. Other than that, when you charge... ouch. This is a great example of and army NOT to blob your guard squads against. I like this list. Ill have to work on getting a bunch of bikes around and then try this list out.

I could do the transport thing, but that would bring me up to 2,500 points. I just work out a 2k & 2.5k versions of this list.

Drop unnecessary wargears.

Have you ever think about that why you hardly seen pepole taking bloodclaws?

Actualy I do quite well with them.

This is to every one who has not tried them
Try them a few times, you might be suprised what you can do with them.

Put 15 of them and a Wolf Priest in a LRC and go for broke.

I ran a list with 2 giant bloodclaw squads led by Wolf Priests in LRCs and they really put the hurt on anything they hit. The only problem with your list is the BCs are walking and will probably get shot to bits before making it into CC which is where you want them to be. And trust me, you WILL need more dice. I bought two extra boxes of small dice at the tournament I took my list to and I definitely used all of them.

You don't see a lot of bloodclaws because people are scared of their low BS/WS which isn't really an issue when 15 of them come out of an LRC led by a priest who gives them preferred enemy. BCs are amazing you don't see them a lot because the codex is still relatively new and there are much flashier, albeit way more expensive, units people are obsessed with (Thunderwolf Cavalry for example...)
