I hate my flocking bases. They're so much flocking work. I wish these bases would just go flock themselves. But now my bases are all flocked up. I just hope they don't flock off.

I use sand.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I whole heartly agree with you. That is why I just buy resin bases, and then (looking both ways and whispers) cast like it is going out of style.

Sorry for the weird flocking post but I was flocking around last night and kept dropping stuff on my couch so now my couch is flocked up and all I could say was 'oh flock'.

I use sand and static grass generally. Easier and less problematic. Yes, there is the risk of looking like a fluorescent green wookiee if you sneeze at the wrong time, but them's the risks.

I rarely use flock - and it's often only on terrain pieces.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Hehe nice one. I find it easier to paint the models separately from their bases - so that all the bases can be done at once without having to put glue etc around the feet (as opposed to getting it on the feet and only realising too late :/ )

flocking funny post though!

Lets face it, by the sounds of things some of you people couldn't complete a game of snakes and ladders without running off to the internet to whine that snakes are broken and ladders are too powerful...-Hymirl

Pfft, Treadheads ! All the gear and no idea! You'll only end scattering and blow up a shrine to the God-Emprah!

I actually like flocking. Sure it can be messy at times, but it's so good. If I'm not flocking, then I find myself thinking about how I can improve my flocking abilities. I might have a flocking problem.

I have a small tupperware container that I've cut a hole in and made a hole that opens up for different sized bases(60mm, 40mm, 25mm) to be inserted into with wetted down glue in.

Shake off the excess right back into the container, and voila!
No mess!
