Hi. This is a serious question to all WHB players (not only skaven)- what sort of models would you to see if there would be an alternative manufacturer?
Are you not satisfied with certain GW models and would like nice alternative? Anything not produced yet that you would like to see? There is a possibility that me and my friend will produce some alternative models soon so i am trying to check whats the market for that stuff- first thing we thought about would be reisin kit to make abominations/chaos spawns (lots of different options obviously), another is warlock- like model with a rocket (not similar to doomrocket at all smile.gif )
Please let us know your opinions and keep this thread serious. Thanks in advance!

1) Plastic WoC chariot / warshrine kit
2) Plastic BoC chariot (both razorgor and tuskgor)
3) Plastic chaos cultist kit (like flagellants with robes, but with spooky hooded heads and not the tiny vests - hell, I'd just take a 'spooky masks / hoods' head sprue)
4) Very large boars, preferably tusky and razorbacked

Not sure what else, but definitely chariots. They're one of the hardest alternate models to find, and GeeDub's are both ancient sculpts and cost $$$

Seconded.

I would like to see new Lizardmen CoC, I realize they are stupid but do they really have to look that way? A Mazdamundi model would be snazzy too!
Plastic TG would be nice as well.

well, stuff is going to be in metal I am afraid- plastic is too cost prohibitive to produce for a small business unfortunately..

So long as these new metal harpies aren't too cost prohibitive for a small business employee to purchase.

Mmmm..

Selfish figs first..

Witch Elf Hero - I mean the books been out what, two years, we need a fig and Morleys Lord isn't cutting it.
Dark Riders - This seems to have been resoved from what folks are saying.. so inbound, hopefully sometime this year.
Hellebron on Manticore - I needs it, she's been my fave Special Character since I read the first Dark Elf army book years ago.. I want a modern GW take on her pls.
Warriors update - really starting to look old, especially next to the plastic corsairs.

Others I'd like to see..

Chaos God racial update sprues for WoC - just needed for so many things, Mordheim, WoC armies, Thats Chaos warband campaign I still have the rules for somewhere.

Plastic Savage Orcs - Theres no cost effective way to do them right now, and savage Orcs are great fun.
Plastic Forest Goblins on foot - Spiders where great, cheers and thanks to GW, but I don't want blinkin Night Goblins alongside them, Savage Orcs and Forest Gobbo's equals new army for me.

Province based upgrade sprues for the Empire, don't need loads to start, but extra stuff specific to certain provinces/City states would be very cool, banners with the correct symbols etc, ones that come to mind stright off the bat would be Nuln, Averland, Stirland, Ostermark, Hochland and Altdorf.
Plastic Moot Halflings. Allow you to make shortbow or warrior style troops.

I am sure there are many more, but those come to mind the quickiest.

edit - oh and aye 100% agree with viney, Chaos Dwarf figs. That equals an army for me, (more so than the Savage Orcs/Forest gobbos) with big hats or no, don't care, just love the army background.

I'd love to see some more interesting hammerers come out. I'd also like to see the common goblins and wolfrider sprues upgraded/replaced to be on par with the pretty nice Night Goblin kits.

And I would love some hell-forge style Chaos Dwarfs.

-Plastic Terradons. I dislike metal models to start with, and the actual cost of running a proper sized unit is slowed.

-A Mazdamundi model. After seeing the upgrades they did with the most recent Stegadon, I know GW has it in them to put out something good.

-Tetto'eko. My couple of attempts to kit bash and build a model have fallen rather short. Metal, plastic, I don't care.

More plastic infantry all around - there's really no reason they can't do it - hell it might even inspire people to field more of them. Just for godsake's don't charge every box at Goldsword prices!

New High Elf Cavalry - the Silver Helms, Reavers and to lesser extent Dragon Princes are starting to show their age.

Dark Elf Harpies. Seriously, I hate the current ones. They were beat with an ugly bat and left to get ran over on a highway used primarily by transfer trucks made of recycled ugly bats. Make them go away and I will sing praises to your company's name.

Also, new Sorceress models, both foot and horse mounted. For the love of Khaine, a new Manticore would be awesome. Preferably without its tongue sticking out.

I think some people get this thread wrong- I was asking what could "WE "do that people would want to see and buy, its not a wish-list for GW...
Anyway, coming back to the subject- I don't think we will go for sorceress as there are quite few alternative models but theme of harpies seems to be repeating itself quite often, so ... who knows

One thing I would like to see (although I suspect it will never happen) is a plastic Terradon kit, with maybe 3 Terradons in a box. The models themselves don't bother me - in fact I quite like them. I just hate having to pay $12 for one, wait three weeks to get it in the mail, and then have to screw around with the metal model and those cursed flying stands. A plastic kit would surely save me a lot of headaches.
As for new models, I'd like to see some sort of multi-model kit for the new Beastmen monsters. You know, with all the bits inside to make either of the three options. Of course, that would also come in handy with Hellpit Abomination conversions as well.

Seriously, I reckon most of them look absolutely bogus.

Second for plastic Beastmen chariots

Shame that Mino's AND bestigors are plastic, yet they still cost a gakload, pretty much for no reason. No, I don't want to pay $42 dollars for 3 models....

Maybe plastic centigors, not top priority I'd say.

WoC chariot. It's not the metal one looks bad, but it's a pain to put together and doesn't quite fit together properly when it does.

Others maybe the Wood Elf Treekin and Treeman. They don't look as good as they could do, though I can substitute LoTR ents for the Treemen anyway. On Woodelves, probably Warhawks as well.

A new plastic Chaos Dragon would be nice too.
