and it says you gain the special rule OR Equipment based on the the roll.

So if you rolled power wepons would that be added to the wargear, or would it just count as them with power wepons.

That's how I run it so they get an additional attack.
But I'm sure there's someone out there that disagrees...

They get power weapons, in addition to their close combat weapons.

so they get an extar attack? i have always played them as it upgraded their weapons to power weapons.

Looks to me like it changes their existing weapons, based on the wording.

I think this is pretty clear.

"The Possessed unit will have the special rule or EXTRA EQUIPMENT indicated in the table for the entire game."

Emphasis obviously mine, I believe this clearly shows that the Power Weapon should be an extra weapon, in addition to their normal wargear.

Ahh, good point, that makes more sense especially when you look at the rest of the table... they're all USRs, apart from power weapons... probably the extra equipment they refer to.

Yeah me and my friends were talking about it and i said they get EXTRA equipment, and said that was the only equipment, I said think of it as adding it to the wargear.

Of course it's not an Extra Attack, their normal weapons just become Power Weapons!

But I kid! Yes, it counts as an Additional Weapon, for the reasons explained by others.
