This is a new 35 point Cryx list I want to try out what do you all think?

i would dump a pistol wraith to bring the satyxis up to a full unit.

I really should run the full unit of Satyxis however, I have a hard time droping a pistol wraith for one I would be more apt to drop the deathripper as arc nodes aren't as essential with Skarre as they are with every other Cryx warcaster.

I agree with that. I would nix a deathripper to max out that squad, also I would try to work in a Scarlock Thrall. It works wonders for every cryx warcaster!

I think this will give me a ton of threat and lots of options to work with while being able to lock down my opponents key units or obliterating them outright, I am tempted to do another version of this list switching Skarre for Asphyxious. I think either way it will be a ton of fun.

you are missing ritual sacrifice fodder... Think about dropping a pistolwraith. Skarre is a lot better with a focusfactory going.offering satyxis is a bit counterproductive as they are too expensive to just sacrifice...

anyway think about and run the list any way you want. maybe it can run quite well without the focus factory, but then half the point of the skarlock is gone IMHO...

At 35 points it isn't really viable to run her infinite focus engine because well at this point level it's missing the infinite and all it will really do is bleed me dry on troops. The Scarlock is there to cast backlash for me on my Raiders target, so Skarre can cast dark guidance and still have focus left to protect herself or run my death jack on a turn where he didn't go stomping through infantry like a child through puddles.

35 is still a limited point value and Skarre really needs a 50 point army to put forth her full power or at least that has been my experience, which is why i have been thinking of switching her out for Asphyxious as he can drive this same list like an undead killing machine but he lacks the synergy with the raiders that Skarre has =/.

Drop an Arc node or two and take more infantry.

Skarre can give boosted attack rolls to models in her Control area, the more models you have the more attacks you'll make, the more you'll benefit from her spell.

Three turns of focus factory will cost you one point with a trio of Scrap Thralls.

for 2 points you have enough bodies for a normal fight (which usually lasts 3 or 4 turns, sometimes 1 or 2 longer, but rarely past 6...)

that is dropping gorman, or an arcnode (and then have a few points leftover...)

Drop the pistol wraiths and add some mcthralls, you will be happy you did.

I have found it very difficult to spend the 3 points on a pistol wraith. Now in a 50pt list, they get in easier, I think.

Also, 3pts adds 6 more ammo for Skarre.

Scrap thralls are a bit of a risk though. But you are right, they are cheap.

Skarre doesn't really like when things are exploding around her.

For one, you can spread them out. Also I don't think they explode when they are removed from the table...

Safest option is the mechthralls, but they are a point more for six...
