It's niggling at me in the back of my mind that I've read somewhere that JI get a larger consolidation move after CC, however after checking the entries for JI and Consolidation in the BRB, I see nothing about this at all.

Does anyone know if this is one of those rules that's mentioned obscurely in one of the codices? The other option of course is it's a figment of my imagination - quite possible.

Was it a rule from a previous edition... or something?

Sure you are not confusing it with the 3 d 6 they use when they fail a moral check and flee faster than a normal troop?

Not read anything about a larger move as you mention otherwise.

You dont get bigger consolidation move with JI. the reason being (i think it says this in the rule book) is that, when they attack, they do so on foot and so move as normal infantry for charges and consolidation moves.

So they only use the jump packs for normal movement and fallign back.

No bigger consolidation move, they fall back faster than normal troops but that is it really...
