(All boyz squads include a Nob with a PK and a BP)
20 boyz- 160 points

12 ard boyz- 160 points (OR 20 regular boyz)

30 boyz with 3 rokkits- 250 points

Squad of 2 deffkoptas with tl rokkits 90 points (three squads, 270 points total)

Battlewagon with deffrolla RPJ Big Shoota and stikkbomb chukka 125 points

Battlewagon with plank ram armor and Big Shoota 115 points

Right on 2000 points, this is for a tournament commin' up. I'm going to give it a test drive tomorrow. The plan is the three battlewagons will roll up the field and give cover to the 30 orks, while the 30 orks and the deffkoptas throw rokkits at things. The DEFFROLLA wagon will be up front. The Ard Boyz (or a 20 boyz mob) will blow something up with said deffrolla, and then tarpit whatever piled out of it, until the nob-star can jump on them. Snikrot will gently encourage my opponent to advance into the center where I can take him out.

Good/bad/needs more deffrollaz?

I assume you are taking six units of 20 boyz each? Just want to make sure.

Deff Rolla on each would be nice.

Removing 30 boyz with rokkits and 'ard boyz could go to adding more weapons to the BWs since you don't want them to immobilize.

IMO, 3 full squadrons of rokkit buggies would do better than 3 squads of 2 Deffkoptas. If 1 deffkopta dies, you are forced into a Morale Save for the other, which has a decent chance to run off the board.

You could also add a burna unit to throw into a BW versus other horde armies. Could prove much fun.

Lootas aren't bad either, and may prove more effective than Snikrot led kommandos in the long run.

What to do with the rest of the points relies on you (and others to critique ).

Wait, do your math again, bessides, if a unit is going to be on foot, (because you can only have half of them in wagons) I would rather be full sized than just 20. (though I probably will have mobs of 20 boyz, I toyed with the idea of a few 'ard boyz, so my mek or boss had somewhere else to ride...and I might do that anyway because the tournament is this saturday and I donno if I can paint that many orks that fast )
