Had a relaxing Saturday afternoon painting, started with 3, but 2 ended up as practice miniatures, so just this guy finished! Any comments welcome!

Looking good! My only bad comments are the bareness on the shoulder pads, and the full grass base. It looks like he's standing on a golf course.

Agree with the 'golf course' issue (and by the looks of it, he's not a good shot as he's standing in the rough!).

Maybe add some rocks, longer grass, rubble - something to break it up?

That and the chapter symbol and some heraldry on the shield would do wonders...

Ah yeah I should have mentioned that all i've got to base atm is flock, I'll be getting some sand soon!
