Hey everybody! I've been building up an army part-time, and am now refitting my brother's old Chaos Space Marines to have two armies to play against one another.

He wants it to be a tzeentch list; I'm aware that Thousand Sons have their drawbacks, but I like the fluff.

These aren't tournament lists, just fun ones! Let me know what changes could be made/mistakes I've made/dumb stuff, and who you think would win!

Daemonhunters:
Grey Knight Grandmaster w. DH, TH, Hood, Relic
5 Retinue Terminators w. Incinerator
Land Raider Tank

Inquisitor w. Psycannon, Meltabomb, Tarot
Inquisitor w. Eviscerator

5 Inquisitorial Stormtroopers w. 2 Meltaguns, Rhino w. Hunter-Killer
5 Inquisitorial Stormtroopers w. 2 Meltaguns, Rhino w. Hunter-Killer
Shotguns Veterans w. 3 Grenade Launchers, Power Fist, Chimera w. Hunter-Killer
Enlisted Veterans w. 3 Grenade Launchers, Chimera w. Hunter-Killer
Enlisted Veterans w. 3 Grenade Launchers, Missile Launcher

Have the big boys in the Land Raider to be the big scary hammer and push around enemy light stuff, melta suicide teams rush forward, veterans with grenade launchers guard the mid-field to hold down enemy transports. Hunter-Killers and Kraks in the first turn to hold down some transports. Inquisitors party with the Shotgun Vets (eviscerator) and the Chimera Vets (psycannon).

Chaos:
Chaos Sorcerer w. Mark of Tzeentch, Warptime, Bolt of Change, Meltabombs

5 Chaos Terminators:
Chain Fist & Combi-Melta Champion
Power Fist & Combi-Melta
Power Fist & Heavy Flamer
Power Weap & Combi-Melta
Twin Lightning Claws

5 Chaos Space Marines w. Plasma Gun, Icon of Tzeentch, Rhino
5 Thousand Sons w. Rhino, Sorcerer w. Doombolt, Meltabombs, Personal Icon
5 Thousand Sons w. Rhino, Sorcerer w. Doombolt, Meltabombs, Personal Icon

6 Chaos Havocs w. Aspiring, 2 Autocannons, 2 Missile Launchers, Icon of Tzeentch
3 Obliterators

Terminators and Obliterators Deep Strike in on the Icons; Nice big invuln saves for everybody to resist standard anti-marine gubbins, and trucks to resist mass dakka. Sorc goes with the CSMs.

Please let me know guys!

You cannot take IG veterans in DH list.

Only Infantry platoons is allowed.

Personally I find playing a psyker power heavy tzeentch list against a GK army to be a bit rough on the tzeentch player, but fluff does count for a lot.

Just some general suggestions:

Term squad is very expensive and I also see that you didn't take an icon? I would expect one here if no where else. With IoTzeentch they would at least be extremely hard to kill in a smaller points game. I'm glad to see someone using havocs(especially autocannon havocs). Not sure they need an icon, but maybe you want it for fluff reasons as well. The biggest thing I would like to see added would be some Power Fists in the troops, but idk if you can scrounge the points.

In the embrace of the great Nurgle, I am no longer afraid, for with His pestilential favour I have become that which I once most feared: Death.

Revised Chaos list:
Chaos Sorcerer w. Mark of Tzeentch, Warptime, Bolt of Change, Meltabombs

5 Chaos Terminators:
Icon of Tzeentch
Chain Fist & Combi-Melta Champion
Power Fist & Combi-Melta
Power Fist & Heavy Flamer
Power Weap & Combi-Melta
Twin Lightning Claws

8 Rubric Marines, Icon, Change Bolt & Meltabomb Sorceror
8 Rubric Marines, Icon, Change Bolt & Meltabomb Sorceror

3 Obliterators
5 Havocs w. 4 Missile Launchers (broke my autocannon ;-, Mark of Tzeentch (sorc goes here)

it's low on scoring units, yes, but it has a lot of hurting power. Weaknesses, clearly, the two rhinos are going to insta die. But you can deep strike in 2 oblits, 1 oblits, and 5 termies as backup. More a focus on controlling the battle then choosing its location.
