Was tinkering around with different ideas for an ork army, and my thoughts went towards a list with a trukk-load of vehikles. Nothing fancy but an army full of armored things that move around and shoot.
Ork Army- 1498 points
HQ Option-110 points
Big Mek with Kustom Force Field with Burna and ‘eavy Armor-110 points

I'm on the fence about the Ork Trukks. I could combine troop orks into 3 shoota squads instead and make it more a walker army. But I have seen walker armies before with kan wallz and wanted to theme up the rokkit buggies with some trukk orks. I have satisfied the ability for this army to be mobile as well as pack a solid contingent of anti-horde and anti-transport/hopefully not AV 14 tank dakka, but it's a pretty linear army that has little variation in case I have to adapt to something my army cannot handle.
What do you think about this list?

Replace buggies with koptaz. Drop grots they dont do anything, take more trukkboyz (make the points by dropping kan squads to 3x2, i think rokkitz are better than grotzookaz)

I like the list. I'm on the fence about the Big Mek, but I understand the need for the KFF. I don't have the models for this, but I'm sorely tempted as it looks very atypical yet effective.

I think if you run a v with the mek in the middle of your trukks it could work. At first sight it looks good but its the tabletop that really tells. Enough tankbusting with buggies and clean up crew with the kans. Not too sure how effective they'd be slugging it though. by the time they catch up your boyz might have cleaned up the infantry already.
I have a slight feeling you'll be cleaned up by heavy mech lists though such as ig..whatever tank spam

NidMaster400000-they walk, but they also have 18" firing range for their grotzooka, 24" after their 6" walk. I am concerned that the killa kans would be ignored because of this, but because they can lay down 18 small pie plates of doom, it will hurt an army that has vulnerable infantry.
Iw0chtulka-agree the grots are pratically useless, but I do like them for being an objective holder without breaking the bank in terms of points.
I debated deffkoptas as a replacement. I'm very divided on that, for deffkoptas also have twin-linked rokkit launchas and can suicide-charge with buzzsaws. But it goes back to the boyz. A walker list, I would include deffkopta for their scout ability and harassment, but it would mean changing trukk boyz to walkers IMO.
More trukk boyz could work. I could drop kans entirely and add more mobile attack, specifically BWs (if I can konvert some  ) and to keep anti-horde taktiks going, throw in some burna boyz too.
Rokkits and grotzookas do two different things in my army. I agree rokkits are good, but grotzookas drop 2 mini pie plates of doom at str 6, AP 5. Certainly useful if I face a horde army.
Good advice all around.
Sarigar- if I follow the previous poster's advice, I could find more use for the Big Mek with KFF. ATM, I am looking for nine buggies to konvert to make this list.
This in theory could be effective, as it places 22 vehikles on the board. If opponents ignore one piece of the attack, it could spell disaster in the immediate sense or later on, depending on what they ignore/composition of their list.
daemon-agreed. Orks don't have many good options vs AV14, but with the buggies, I can turbo boost them towards an opponent's flank and scare the emprah out of 'em as I look for a rear armor section to throw those rokkits at. I'm more concerned about Land Raiders than anything, given their 14 AV all around value.

Taking out a unit of buggies allows me to field at the very least one suicide kopta and some points to throw around for other units.
Allows me to scout and gives me a solid 12 shots of rokkits from the buggies.
