Thinking of doing a guard army, any help on the list would be much appreciated:

The mortars are fine(you can hide them from LOS) but the missile launchers will die fast, take that 90 points and get Creed. +10 points

What is with the naked infantry squads? look to giving them some heavy or special weapons, and if you plan to combine them you only need one vox. +5 points

finally your autocannon/flamer infantry Blob; switch the Flamers to grenade Launchers or Sniper rifles, or plasma guns(-30 points, need to find 15)

What I do with my Guard is put my infantry squads with nothing cept las guns. 50 points pure and simple.

I do not recommend a heavy bolter team, you wanna keep your units moving, and when you do that, no shooting those heavy weapons. Stick to HW >squads<.

I would scrap all the heavy weapon teams thats are in your PCSs and infantry squads. Use the points for some Leman Russ tanks! I mean, every IG army needs one!

These are both good ideas, I think ill rework the missile launchers, 90pts seems like alot to be too vunerable. Might have a look into getting creed also.

I think I need to beef up the weapons in the infantry squads a bit, also a lemus russ does sound tempting.

Time for some re working methinks.
