I made this list to use for fun tonight. I do not know what I will be facing, but whatever it is I would like a shot at winning...
Iron Lich Asphyxious +6
- Cankerworm 5
- Deathripper 4
- Deathripper 4
- Slayer 6
- Skarlock Thrall 2
Min Bane Thralls (Leader and 5 Grunts) 5
Max Mechanithralls (Leader and 9 Grunts)5
2X 3 Scrap Thrall 2
2X Pistol Wraith 3
Warwitch Siren 2
Ideas behind the list are:
Asphyxious because I have not used him much. protecting him will be a bit hard, but that is what cover is for...
the worm and slayer form the hard hitting part. the worm should be able to take out a light in a turn, while the slayer should be able to maim a heavy. (prolly not taking it out completely, but far enough)
the rippers are nodes, what else did you expect... Skarlock will add a cloud for cover (breath of corruption) or cast scything touch on either thralls or if needed on cankerworm...
Banes are as another heavy hitter. they can finish what the slayer started or take on small units. With scything touch they can easily take out men'o'war, which my opponent likes to field if using khador).
Mechanithralls are a cheap screen that is fast. They can tie up units. I would have preferred using a necrosurgeaon and a couple brutes for the unit, but I am proxying enough as is...
The 6 scrapthralls are where my list is fun. they are my proxies of the day. they will act as breath of corruption targets. that way I can aim the breath at nice point on the table and nog get my important units shot at. it will also keep opponents at a distance because most troops and some solos will not survive passing trough a cloud...
the pistolwraiths can take out single targets and part of a lost unit. they can also stop jacks in their tracks. The siren can powerboost a node if needed to get it into position without using a casters focus. she can also venom a unit if needed.
That is about it...
If you see any big mistakes or holes in the list let me know and maybe I can adjust...
