I live in Perry Barr and was wondering if anybody in the Birmingham area fancied a game?

There is a fairly large group that meet up every Tuesday at Ladywood Social Club.

Other wargames are covered there too but about 1/2 the people there play 40k. There are plenty of boards and terrain for people to use.

I am not sure how easy it would be for you to get there but it is very close to Five Ways roundabout, just past the AMC Cinema.

The club has a website somewhere but I can't remember the site address off-hand.

I don't have my own transport at the minute so it's difficult to get around, I'm in Sutton Coldfield most days because my children go to school round there.

I live in Harbourne so it is fairly easy for me to Ladywood, however I don't drive at all so again it is hard for me to get around.

I can get some details for you about the club (October Wargames Association is the correct title I believe) if you like? Someone may be able to give you a lift.

Alternatively, I would have a word with Leon at the Sutton Coldfield GW. He is the new (ish) manager there, I know him from the October Club (which he is unable to attend atm as he needs to work). He runs a games night in the Sutton store. I have never been but I am told the gaming space they have there is pretty impressive.

A short while ago the user mercer was looking for people to game with, he's in Cannock, so that might be quite a bit closer to you. See if he's available

I'm up for a game! I don't mind travelling either.

I would come to the gaming club, it's just a bit of hassle because I either have to travel from work which would be a nightmare or go home and come back. I work in Walsall Wood btw.
