The signature weapon of Cygnar’s Stormblades, the Storm Glaive is one of the best-known mechanikal weapons in all the Iron Kingdoms. Despite the short ranged electrical discharges that the weapon is capable of firing it is primarily a close combat weapon. This naturally leaves the Stormblades vulnerable to enemy gunfire as they advance to meet their foes in melee. Cygnar’s arcane mechaniks devised the Storm Thrower to both provide storm knights with covering fire and to enhance the accuracy of blasts produced by Storm Glaives.

personally, i don't think the figs name utilizes the power inherent to the word "storm" enough. i think they should call him the Cygnar Stormbladestorm Stormgunner. just sayin...

It's better than a Space Wolves Thunderwolf Cavalry with Wolfkin, Wolf Claw, and Mark of the Wulfen. They ride Wolves.

...or maybe a Space Wolf Wolf Priest with Wolf Amulet, Wolftooth Necklace, Wolf Tail Talisman, and Saga of the Wolfkin in a squad of Space Wolf Wolf Guard with Wolf Claws and Mark of the Wulfen Wolf Wolf Wolf.

being an IG player, i was expecting a big tank for some reason...

Rogue Market: They're weapon attachments for the Stormblades, and they're kind of
weird. They seem built for Stormblade units with the Unit attachment so that they can really
help the unit handle high ARM targets during the assault charge. Other probable uses: making
a bunch of POW 14 ranged attacks hit automatically to give Stormblades another option than
just charging in.

I'll have to see one in use before I pass final judgment though.

I'll admit I'm liking more and more of the newer PP sculpts. The only thing I still don't like is the type of helmet he has. IIRC, there are other Cygnar models with that helmet which I'm also not a fan.

Getting much better in Mark 2, though.

That's a nice fig and now we are able to beef the stormblade unit to good size, will probably work best with the assault order as malf said, but have to try it out.
