So I have been playing quite a bit of the blood bowl PC game and think I can come to a conclusion so what do you guys think

Don't get me wrong I do enjoy playing but it seems a bit predictable in regards to the way the game goes and with the lack of interaction from your opponent sitting across the table.

For example it seems to me the game centres around how many casualties you can inflict very rarely have I come across a game which is tense on both sides.

Do casualties take place too often?

Having your players carried to the dugouts repeatedly , which in turn weakens your side, exactly how are you supposed to win. With three or four of your players missing

There doesn't seem to be any skills that prevent this with any consistency.

Does this happen too often?

Played a chaos team some of his players had claw, mighty blow, block , pile on, jump up.

like that doesn't sound like a game to me.

Surely the game should be centred around two teams battling for the upper hand until the last few seconds when a touchdown is scored.

It all seems to be about killing your opponent players knocking them out generally a bit boring

It can be fun, but also terribly frustrating at times. Also the AI is way to easily tricked. I have figured out how to get the enemy ball carrier to go anywhere I want him to now. I agree that a lot of the fun in Blood Bowl comes from playing with a live human being.

Also with most games with a RNG, I hate the way it roles. I seem to get dice rolls that I shouldn't over and over again. But that's probably just perception and not reality. I haven't played the game in almost 6 months now in fact. Games take too long.

I've been playing a game a day for the past two months. It's on Easy, I admit, and my team is Orcs. I'm having a great time. When I've got the Blood Bowl cup, I'm going to retire the team and start a Skaven team on Medium.

The dice seem to favor the AI, but on Easy, it seems to need it. I suspect I'll be less happy with it on Medium.

"If you really want to know what it was like, to fight in the air in the great War, then go up to someone you have never met and who has never done you the slightest harm and pour a two-gallon tin of petrol over them. Then apply a match, and when they are nicely ablaze, push them from a fifteenth-floor window after first perhaps shooting them a few times in the back with a revolver. And be aware as you are doing these things that ten seconds later someone else will quite probably do them to you. This will exactly reproduce... the substance of First World War aerial combat and will cost your country nothing. It will also avoid the necessity of ten million other people to die in order for you to enjoy it."

The Value of Blood Bowl on PC is Easily in the online play.

The AI simply cannot duplicate the challange you get from a real person. Besides the banter back and forth you can have. To top it off you can join already established leagues on line, or form you own. League play is really where BB comes into it's own.

I quite like it but for the lack of Chaos Dwarfs, my preferred team in the board game version.

The commentary gets a bit repetitive, and as mentioned, the injuries seem a tad too common (though I play Orcs on the PC version and rarely have any trouble with receiving them).

I'd rather play the board game though

"A heathen, conceivably. But not, I hope, an unenlightened one."

Eeeeh, wargaming weren't like this back in my day!

I'm playing it on the 360 and enjoying the hell out of it - the new Dark Elf DLC is out, and I'm finding the Darkies to be a real challenge...damn you, Stab skill!
