Hey was reading about some questions about forgeworld...and....is FW considered GW when doing a 40k tourney? You know how they say like "model must be 70% GW" or w.e. Are forgeworld models considered GW? (assuming they are covered in regular 40k rules...like lets say a Chaos Dread.)

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

For all FW models that have rule in the GW codex yes they are completely legal in tournaments as far as i know. I have a few chaos dreads of my own that i use in 'Ard Boyz tournies and havent had a single gripe. If you are planning on getting chaos dreads i recommend doing so as they are very nice models and only cost a slight bit more then the metal paperweights they sell from GW.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!

No one complains about FW models that represent codex entries. In my experience people are happy to see some of the more exotic models in place of the ones they see more regularly. What they don't like is trying to use the FW models that only have IA rules. Most tourney organizers do not permit them.

ya FW is 100% tournament legal representing a model from the codexes. all the stuff from imperial armor like blood slauterers and choas renegades are not legal rules to use

FW is 100% owned by CItadel MIniatrures and are therefore as much a "citadel miniature" as anything else - look in all the books and you will see the logos reproduced.
