I was looking at my list and i have 90 pts to use up now im going for horde control. So i have two viable options at only 90 pts to spare i can either

A) get a Dakka Pred

B) get a 5 man LF squad with 4 Hvy bolters

So what do i do. Im more of a armor enthusiast so i lean more towards the Dakka Pred. As i also only have 4 Razorbacks and 1 LR with 2 LS typhoons in my army. And another tank takes some shots off my lighter AV units. But those 4 Hvy Bolter LF's can lay down a salvo of fire and split it at that. So what do you all think?

It is based on other parts of your army.

If the other parts are mainly mechnized(seems that you would have that), take predators.

Or take longfangs.

and,You still need meltas.

If you are primarily going anti-infantry, then I would take a pred. The AV13 front armor would shield you from a bit of the horde's replying volleys.

On the other hand, long fangs may be more survivable in the long run, since it will take more successful wounds to put them down.

Yea lol that is what im debating.

I would go with Missile Launchers instead of Heavy Bolters. 4 bodies and 3 ML. Its the same price but more flexible and 3 Frags will still do a good job of killing infantry considering the extra 12" you have.
