Does anyone happen to have any of the WarGods of Hyperborea Wendigo Warriors and/or Wendigo Ice Warriors that they cold take a picture of next to a GW plastic Chaos Warrior?

Thanks!

I'm hoping to use them as 'counts as' Ogres in a WoC army, if they're big enough...

I can't provide a side by side shot, but I do have some Wendigo sealed in their blister packs and I would be happy to measure the figures for you if that would help at all.

yeah, i only have the chief, and he's the right size, but the warriors are quite a bit smaller...

good luck, but i think you are better off using ogres as ogres...

That would help, quite a bit - thanks!

So, if I only used 'war chief' Wendigo, I'd be better off?

I like these models, and I LOVE the Snowbeast model (It IS going to be my 'counts as' Giant!), so I figured, for a theme (from the great frozen Chaos Wastes of the North...), these would be the way to go!

Are you going to paint them in light blues and whites or some other palet?

hey...

i'm back...
i was a little busy ACTUALLY PAINTING (as you should be) last night...
i have a painting guide article due A.S.A.P., and 2 commissions to finish before i get to start painting the new Blood Angels...

here is the link to the Croc store's Wendigo section:

http://www.crocodilegames.com/secure/list_items.asp?CatID=33&SubID=42&pageHeading=Items - Miniatures - Hyperborea

i'm sure you've already checked these guys out, but a word about bases may give a clue to the sizes...
these are basically the same size as the WFB bases, so if you look at the 3 chiefs available, they are on 40MM bases...
the regular warriors are on 25MM bases...

the Snowbeast is awesome, and will make a great giant...
there are 3 Chiefs, so that is a little bit of variety...
the Shaman and Master of the Hunt (as well as the warriors) could just be mounted on 40MM bases, and mixed in with the Chiefs...
some of them. like the Shaman, Standard Bearer, and Summoner have enough stuff goin' on that they shouldn't look out of place on a 40MM base...

just thinking about what you could do has changed my mind on my original call...
these guys could definitely do the job, especially with a consistent theme...

cheers

Whoa, sorry lost track of this.

Okay I just measured the two models in my blister pack and one was a bit hunched and stood 1.5" tall, the other had it's arm raised and stood 2" tall.

I'll be painting them in colors rather close to this - I like the 'northern' feel to them...

Argh!

The base size should have been enough of a clue - you're right! (Of course!)

Looks like it will have to be the Chieftain models - so be it!

And that Giant is awesome, isn't it?

I don't think I'll revive this post when I get them in and start painting, but keep an eye out for one in the P&M Blog section!

One for my True Scale Alpha Legion too - once I get my truescale rhinos in!

Oh, and a Raven Guard one too, eventually! (Probably once FW releases some more RG stuff!)
