I have started on ECW using WLGs figures for our local gaming group Campaign game.

You can read about it on my blog: http://www.maciraq.blogspot.com/.

Here are a few of my troops on a copy of the campaign map of Scotland.

Those look good.

I started a Covenanter army using the Perry figures when they came out but never got around to finishing it. I was tempted recently to get some of the Warlord Game Figures but managed to convince myself that a large unpainted army is really not much better than a smaller unpainted army.

There are a few good sites for ECW miniatures. The best, in my opinion, is Auldearn 1644, but the author took a year off, and hasn't started back up.

I've done a bit of basic converting with a regiment of cavalry, using royalist cav to build the lancers. It was my first working with green stuff- something I've always wanted to try but do it because of what I've read on this site.

I also made bonnets and a few plaids for the third regiment.
