Thought it was about time I put a project log together, and since i'm just getting started with some new(ish) Marines, I thought there's no time like the present, and it'll also help keep myself on track.
So, my original plan was to build, albeit, fairly slowly a Daemonhunters army, and a friend had some Marines he donated to me, so the new plan was an allied army, initially
SM HQ with
DH allies, and later the reverse. Also donated, is my first model, an
AoBR Captain/Commander bloke, pic shortly, and I've started working on him tonight. Which annoyingly has led me to read up on the new
BA stuff coming, and was thinking, since the Blood Ravens lost all knowledge of their history, including the identity of their Primarch, could the Ravens count-as Blood Angels? I've asked a couple guys I play with and they don't have a problem with it, thought I'd ask on here and see what a greater number of players think since I may take them to a tourney in the not too (hopefully) distant future.
I've also been trying to read up on some painting techniques and am really needing some tips on how to improve, as in my opinion, my painting has a long way to go! Especially seeing some of the other memebers efforts in the gallery.
So far, I've got 20~ Marines to tidy and prime.

4x ISTs with special weapons to open.
2x Dreadnoughts to strip
1x Rhino to strip.
More to do than I really thought!

Rather unfortunate flash with the shadow across him, but the light in this room is terrible and the phones the best I've got currently until I find the charger for my digital cam. He's still
wip, the cloak needs finished and I'm considering removing the purity seals from the cloak, as I think they're in a rather silly place, and well, look daft. Might even cut em out and make more with some green stuff casting.
