This is what I am helping my friend with so far. I play IG so I don't really know to much about what is good and what isn't in Chaos lists. I used some ideas from other popular Chaos lists. But this is what I have so far. Any suggestions?

Chaos Space Marines 1850pts. (1847 to be exact)

7 Plague Marines- Champion, power fist, 2 melta guns, personal icon, Rhino, dozer blade- 266

10 Khorne Berserkers (to be transported in Land Raider)- Skull Champion w/ power weapon, plasma pistol, personal icon-260

I don't really know what I'd add in its place, but plasma pistols are pretty weak for the cost involved. I'd take it off the zerk champ and plague champ.
Using oblits for heavies is a bit odd in this list as it saturates your armor into 3 vehicles at 1850. You get the firepower out of the oblits, but you also
let your opponent focus fire as well. I think those could be paired down to two groups of two. The extra points from all that could probably net you
another squad of something.

Plague Marines are made for Plasmaguns. Your 6 obliterators have the Meltas/Lascannons you need.

Drop the PP on the Skullchamp for the points.

Lash of Submission is Slaanesh only no taking it on a tzeensch sorcerer so pick one or the other(mark)

I hear you about the plasma weapons, I personnaly would go with more meltas if anything. But thats all he owns as far as plague marines.

As for the Oblits, I was thinking of deep striking them off the personal icons and getting them into the action along with the troops later game.

Doesn't look too bad to me. I'd drop that sorcerer and double up on princes so you have dual threat and target saturation in monstrous creature from. If you drop wind of chaos you can afford the same setup, just with warptime and wings only.

May as well put fists only on plague marines as they don't hit that quick anyway.

Why do you want doombolt?

Else: fist on Zerkers since they are primarily frontal assaulters.
Power weapons on plague marines = sad panda, it's generally fist or don't bother with the champion.

At 1850, I'd really rather see one more rhino for armor saturation purposes, 1 LR and 2 Rhinos is pretty low.
