In Sept I returned to the hobby from a break sinc...a long time ago (2nd ed. 40k?, now I'm 22). I have a reasonably sized, and growing SM force, and have just started with some beastmen. Am very keen to play, but have so far failed to, so I'm not at all familiar with playing (though I 'know' the rules).

Strongly prefer playing with fully painted models, and rather not with those much younger than myself (22).

I'm in Penge area, and the more localthe better. Weekends and evenings best, now and again daytime would be possible.

If you're willing to make the train journey up to central London, there's a few places to try.

DarkSphere games is underneath Waterloo Station, and has late opening on wednesday and thursday nights (until 9.30)

Anything at weekends ever?

Well, i imagine Dark Sphere will get the tables out for weekends. Not sure if any of the local GW stores do pickup games - i know GW Bromley has a huge amount of tables and scenery in their Battle Bunker upstairs, but that might be a bit far...?
