Seeing as the soul of a fallen eldar warrior inhabits the wraithlord, could it not be inhabited by a warlock soul

Yes the points cost would be high, but no wraithsight and warlock abilities in a tough shell.

interesting idea, but it does raise an odd question: Are the wraith units actually psychic, or does the fact that they require a psyker nearby in order to see mean that they are merely empaths, and incapable of actually utilizing psychic abilities?

Methinks this is the first question that would need answered....

my limited understanding was that wraiths needed a psyker to help them existing in the mortal plane.

so would a spirit of a warlock still keep its psychic abilities?

I'd say no, otherwise why would they ever make wraithlords of non psyker spirits?

I think according to the fluff(i could be wrong) Wraith lords are inhabited by multiple spirits.

All eldar are psychic therefore a "Non" psychic host is not possable.

I imagine the Wraithlords inhabitants are focusing their energy on moving and holding the construct together. they can't use psychic powers because all energy is going to keeping the body moving and fighting.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

I've always thought that since a wraithlord lacks eyes, what they are actually seeing the the warp presence of those around them. So they could see daemons and other eldar perfectly well, humans fuzzily, orks as just a big smear and other races not at all. Having guidance on the battlefield would be invaluable. They can probably move along basic well marked paths inside the craftworld without aid (I'm assuming the psykic resonance of wraithbone means they can avoid walking into walls, amusing as that image is).

You could always do a mini Warlock Titan, it's a psychic version of the Phantom. Look at the fluff on Lexicanum in the epic sections.
