I have an issue that pops up from times to time.

I prime my minis and everything is fine but when I go to paint the mini it seems to get grainy almost like there is fine sand on it.

Anyone else seen this before and can tell me what I am doing wrong?

Oi!! Which Butt'n makes dis ting go!?!

That happens when I prime when it is too humid out.

It can happen with humidity or cold, or an improperly cleaned model.

Also make sure you're properly stirring around the pain in your spray can. You should be able to feel the ball bearing going around in the bottom of the can if you're stirring it. Make sure that it stirs from top to bottom by turning the can while you're shaking it. That and washing what you're working on should do the job.
