Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!





I use pastel instead of "officials" weathering powders to do some weathering on a tank for the first time.
The result was very, very good. Like, "omg, this is my best model ever".

I then applied a light coat of satin varnish and the powder effect turn to a very boring brownish hue.


Is there a was to protect a model without losing the powder effect pastel provide?

Artists use a spray to 'fix' pictures done with pastels, chalks and so on.

Regarding the above, hairspray works to fix chalk pastels ON PAPER. I haven't tried on models
