You've got a lot to work with, in my opinion! You can definitely field what most people run for core, I think- what boogeyman listed out above looks good for it. I've had trouble using my wardancers so far- do you run them as one larger unit, or two separate ones? It sounds like you've got a lot more experience with the army than I have- for some reason I've had trouble at the lower point levels, and done a little better at the higher ones.
This could be that I hear glade guard are very devastating at low point levels, and I don't use any... but then at higher point levels I've got an unbalanced close combat list, and can sometimes overwhelm the other army with units.
I think you have a very balanced list- my concern with what boogeyman posted is that you have a great hammer (dragon) but no anvil- since wood elves really don't have a center. What about this list with no dragon?

5x Wardancers = 90
4 Treekin = 260

You could add in some upgrades to your core and wardancers (like musicians). I'd be tempted to try to squeeze it for another unit of dryads.
You could cast treesinging a bunch with this list, which has really helped me against big nasty blocks at the higher point levels- they can't hurt you if they're blocked by a forrest! The Treeman Ancient has also been an all-star... it's really hard to kill him with the Nettlings.
What kind of lists have you taken at 2K and how have the games gone? I could probably learn a lot from your attempts so far
