Bit of a painting spurt currently and did up my first HE shadow warrior.

Decided on purple rather than blue... because 'everyone' does blue, and I like purple.

I really like the paintjob on this model, especially the white on the pantaloons (if thats the right word to describe them), the gem set into the centre of the belt and the purple robes which contrast really well to the rest of the model. The only tiny area I think needs more depth are the fletchings on the arrows, but I think thats just personal preference. All in all a really pleasing final look to the model.

To quote the Channel 4 show, Peep Show: "I'm cancelling out of shame, like my subscription to White Dwarf"

Nice work, the purple works well as a subtle contrast colour.

The bowstring in just a piece of cotton thread.
I tied a loop in it, tightened it around the top of the bow and added a drop of superglue to hold it.
About 1 minute later I pulled it taunt down to the bottom of the bow and wrapped it around twice then another drop of glue.
Cut off the ends with a knife.
All done pre-undercoat.
Painted it khemri brown.
