I was looking for a possible 2500 point cheesy list and i found one in the CSM codex and here it is.

I cant think of much that could take down this much Armour and devastating in close and is actually rather fluffy.

31 models on 2500 pts??? That is not gonna work. Its not megacheese. Meltas will totally ruin your day. And you need to disembark at some point too. When you do, you are dead. Only 3 scoring units? Oh man...

Yeah, this isn't very good, dude... for reasons already mentioned.

Nah, it's the best thing Chaos can do at 2500 points.

Just focus their melta units at the start and avoid getting out unless you have to.

If you are dead set on running Chaos in 'Ard Boyz, this looks pretty good.

Honestly I would LOVE to fight against this at 'ard boys.

but only because I dont think this list would stand a chance.

Land Raiders are ok on thier own, but you need killy stuff inside them to be worth it, and when you load up on 6 of them yout dont have the points for anything else, its the proverbial anvil without the hammer.

I just can't imagine such small units having much of an impact in such big games. There's a million units out there that'll rip berzerkers a new one in such small numbers... plus, three Terminators at a time aren't particularly hard to deal with either.

Call me cynical, but I do not see success in the future of this list. Seeing those hatch doors drop open to let out just five guys is like if in Independence Day, Alf had dropped out of the mothership in a hot air balloon.

I also agree that while the Land Raider is good on its own, the list has several holes with reasons already stated above. I just don't see this doing well against the Vendetta Spam IG List

It will not be good against chimeltavets list too... salamanders? they are around often and they will kill you. Railguns? Zoanthropes?? Lances??? Man this list doesnt stand a chance. Only army that will have some problems with it are orks... unless they have deffrollas... and loads of PK... which they have... This list is... just not useful.

I think 3-4 LR are OK because they can be loaded with killy stuff.

CSM Raiders are far from cheese and melta weaponry is the basis of many competitive builds.

Would be fun to play though even if i did get pwned by meltas

You need several small units to block meltagunner going towards your LRs.

Plus, only 3 troops @ 2500? Not too hot.

I ran three Land Raider, two of them had Nurgle Term and Khorne Term. the other one had a 10 man squads of Khorne Berzerkers.

Don't get me wrong here, Raider spam is terrible for newer codexes, but if he is dead set on running CSM, this is the best option he has.
