Brizzle

I was thinking about buying this
it looks like fun
256 players in a match sounds fun
the graphics dont look bad

has any one got it
I like more tactical games than straight up shooters
I prefer rainbow six and Metal gear solid
to stuff like call of duty

Played it for 2 1/2 weeks, sold it.

256 players is not that impressive because you probably only see about 30 or 40 enemy players since the maps are so big.

You don't really get a say about tactics until you hit platoon commander, since as a squad leader or grunt you're pretty much limited to attacking the target you're told to attack. Even then most of the time since there are too many players to coordinate it boils down to rushing a target and trying to overrun it in mass.

I can overlook most of that, since it was one of the funnest sniping games I've played in a while, but with so many players, it's easy to feel insignificant. Any success you or your squad have is invalidated most of the time by a crappy squad on the other side of the map losing all their control points in the first 4 minutes.

Yea I just got rid of it. First all, the graphics suck. Second of all, it is a snipe-fest. And third, as the other person stated, the command/objective stuff really doesn't seem to matter much, sadly. A great idea, but too many flaws.
