Hello Dakka-Dakka,
Technically I started playing 40k when I bought the second edition while I was in Junior High, I was unable to teach any of my friends how to play and they (being in Junior High) didn't have the money or the interest to play. Now several years and half hearted attempts later, I've finally started to play real games and have found a few others who share my interest.
I've been reading a lot of the Dakka-Dakka forums this week and some really good articles/posts so I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring and maybe contribute (probably just lurk though).
I live in the Twin Cities (MN) and know most the local shops, but if anyone from around the area wants to suggest a cool spot where I might be able to find a pick-up game. Let me know.

@Alpharius It's from the a Zombie Pub Crawl I did a while again. I'll swap it to the most recent ZPC eventually, those pictures are pretty wicked (did the make up to look like my cheek was missing w/exposed teeth, yay liquid latex!).
