Want to start a new army either space wolve sor black templars not sure which one please advise.

I'm a BT fan, but another good reason is that space wolves will be all the rage right now. It's nice to do something different / a little unexpected.

Do you mind old codex with some stuff nerfed compared to new ones? Not as awesome variability of models? Then BT.

Otherwise wolves. Oh and prepare to buy razorbacks. Loads of razorbacks.

Why is the BT codex old?

Because it has age?

It was written under the last edition so has many out of date entries and much of it was nerfed when the new edition came out.

So should I buy it Its cheap compared to the SW one

And SW are excelent at Shooting as well, something BT lack. GH also get their Bonus attack more often than not even when charged AT, making them perfect for Drop Podding in, double tapping their bolters then taking the charge and smashing them in the face. Not to mention the Mark of the Wulfen

Agree with Gwar! As a former BT player I think the codex that was released before 5th is severely lacking in 5th and SW can do everything they can do as good as or better than BT. Once Blood Angels codex is released, I think BT will be good for land raider armies, but for anything else... deep striking / fast moving assault people will want BA and people who want a good shoot/assault mix and be good at both will do SW.

If .. that is IF you are just about the 'best' possible mix at the time. BT still have that awesome fluff and the uber-awesome neophytes ! =p

Wolves got some great units and great spellcaster compared to BT... and they can razorback spam!

Wolves for 2 reasons- Thunderwolfs and fen wolves. Honestly, SMs on WOLVES!

I like the SW new models but another army is blood angels coming out soon!

I play both Black Templars and Space Wolves (2 of my 3 armies) The biggest thing I can say with my Templars is they are consistant. With the ability to reroll you don't get any of those WTF rolls that make you want to talk away from the game.

Yeah, templars do have that...

However, one thing that gives Wolves an assaulty eged is the wolf standard- reroll all ones in cc, for just ten points!
