Here is some more info on it, the elephants are trained to do it, but some are better than others, I guess there is some level of skill with the elephants and they enjoy doing it, apparently.

The cave paintings are amazing- and created in physically difficult condtions.
but even so, if that is genuine- WOWZA
wish the camera would have zoomed out for views of the elephant painting. The cynic in me can't help wondering if it was an arm in a fake trunk

suspect that the process is mimetic rather than creative.
but a wonderful clip and I was very moved to see the deliberate brush placement and gestures. Beautiful
