Subject: Traitor Guard

Ive been thinking about creating a traitor guard unit, are there special rules for the units or do they behave like normal guardsmen, also what are the allowed units. Also any modeling/painting tips for the project would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Dakka! Traitor Guard would belong in the fabled Lost and the Damned Codex, but there aren't any special rules for them right now. You are just going to have to use the IG Codex until we, hopefully, get special rules for them.

Welcome to Dakka Dakka 
You want the Lost and the Damned codex, might be called the Eye of Terror book. But, if you can't get it as it's pretty hard to find most of the time, just use the normal IG codex and model them as traitors anyway.

Hey thanks for the information, ill try and look for the Lost and the Damned when i can. And that link put up by Waaagh_Gonads had some pretty cool stuff, but as of now im thinking of using Cadians and some green stuff to make some extra bits for them.

Hmm ive been trying to name the guard unit, the colors im thinking of using are most likely using browns and reds, but i cant think of a suiting name. Any suggestions?
