OK, someone told me.......... (hate starting off with that but its what happened)
That if you have a vehicle wreck, you cant drive through it if its armor value was higher than yours. Say I want to drive a Chimera through a vindicator wreck, or land raider wreck for that matter. This correct? Cuase it made me read the entire rulebook again looking in vain for it.

You can drive through it fine(dangerous terrain check involved)

The starting armor does not matter when you are plowing through twisted smoking wreckage.

Wrecks become Terrain, and you can move "through" them just fine. They just are not nice things to go though as they are Difficult and Dangerous

As for the Armour Value thing, he may be thinking of 4th edition, where Tanks could Tank Shock other vehicles if their AV was lower.
