So as long as I've played Vanilla SMs, I've neer fielded any fast attack. I have recently bought 3 land speeders and want to clarify before I glue. On one I replaced the heavy bolter with a MM and added the typhoon missle launcer. For the other two I need clarification. The book says you can replace the HB with a HF or MM, or you can upgrade with a TM Launcher,MM Assualt Cannon etc. If I'm reading it right I can keep the Heavy bolter and add a Multi melta for 20 points on the bottom. Sounds cut and dry, I just don't want to ruin 2 land speeders. Thanks in advance.

Yep. that's right. You may want to re-think though. A long-range squadron wants heavy bolters and typhoons (lot's of ranged firepower keeps them alive). A close-up squadron wants multimeltas and heavy flamers.

Thanks, thats a good call. I will use Flamers on the other 2 with multi meltas. I'm gonna be using them as tank hunters and getting in close for the melta bonus, so flamers make sense since they are gonna be in some ones grill and they are still alive after enemy armor is disposed of. Thanks again, I wouldn't of thought of that until it was to late.

Runnin up on ya.

I'd recommend magnetizing the weapons if you're just going to ever take 3 per game that way you have flexibility when making a list.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do
