I'm bored out of my mind, so I descided to post something random for the hell of it.
I have two basenjis, over here they're not a very common breed of dog, but I hear they are relatively popular else where in the world.
Just for the sheer hell of it, does anyone own one of the most awesome types of dog in existence?
Does anyone even know what they are?

I do, but its called a cat. Or, in other parts of the world, a Labrador Retriever.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

Ah yeah they are great dogs, a friend of mine has one here. I couldnt keep one cause they are not really good with cats. they like to chase them, and most cats dont like to be chased all the time

Yes, Basenjis love chasing cats. And cars. And flies. In fact, anything that moves.

All are inferior to lurchers.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

My friend's used to catch birds right out of the air. The Blue Jays would dive bomb her, then suddenly there was a shortage of blue-jays in the neighborhood. The ones left know not to mess with her. They are kind of pricey though if i remember, over a thousand i believe. Still, i think they are worth it.

I am looking into getting me a english bulldog. i like the lazey dogs. and they are friendly with cats/don't care about cats

Sorry. My brain puts dogs just slightly behind Mosquitoes and tapeworms in the list of animals that I'd want to have as a pet. Quite why anyone would want to own something that requires more daily attention than a WoW account ios beyond me.

Yes, I know what a Baenji is. And thanks to you, I know that they don't mix with tuna.

Indeed.

Good people of Dakka, the above is a long and unpleasant story between Tim and myself.

I have a Basenji! His names Rockefeller, or Rocky for short. I've heard Basenji's referred multiple times as the "psychopaths of the dog world" by trainers, I thought it was awesome.

They're not psychos, just those stupid trainer/groomer types can't comprehend how awesome they are!

A Basenji is a breed of dog.

We've had a pedigree chow and a Viszla.

I preferred the Viszla. It didn't bark.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Viszlas aren't bad.
