Just got this press release (see attached).
I've been converting over to their spray cans (quicker and easier than getting an airbrush up and running for a single base colour), so some 100% compatible touch up colours for them would be nice. On the other hand, I am a massive Vallejo Model Color fan so already have every colour under the sun. Should be interesting at least, and nobody should complain about having too many paint options

How close is their army green spray primer to dark angels green? My old can of GW DA green spray is almost kaput =(

I've actually got Army Painter making up a list of comparisons for me at the moment. I'll add it to the Paint Range Chart and will post something on the dakka home page when I get it (within a month or two I presume).

This is interesting news!
Of course, we'll have to wait for the first set of reviews, and price point will be big too, but as you note, more competition and choice is a good thing!

Nowhere whatsoever near it. Army Green is closer to Knarloc/Camo Green.

I love their sprays, I've used a bunch of colors and even use their white and black now. I'll definitely check these out. But, I hope they will be a little on the thicker side. One thing I dislike about Vallejo is they seem to be too thin for me, being one that loves to drybrush their paints are a little too watery and in my experience look kinda "streaky" when drybrush instead of "powdery". So hopefully army painter will be better

Any company that does a Tin Bitzy kinda spray would get money from me, brushing that onto every nook and cranny of Ork rides is such a pain.
