Hi! I'm a newbie to Warhammer 40K. I'm currently in process of getting my army set up. Till then I've got a list going up and I'm hoping for advice on it.

It's a casual list that's pretty fluffy, but I'm open to suggestions on how to make it better. The Meganobz are the only thing I really don't wana get rid of, as they were the ones to inspire me to play Orkz at all. That and they're pretty damn killy!

Waaagh! 1500 pts.

Eternal Plague

Meganobs are okay, but to make them even better, get and attach a Mad Dok Grotsnik to their unit, giving them Feel No Pain, Fearless and the option for five point Cybork Bodies. The downside is they must go after the closest enemy, but if they are Battlewagoned up, it shouldn't be that bad.

I thought about that honestly. Though I dont' wana move the HQs either, since it'd change alot of what I have planned.

That and I am not a fan of the doc's downside. I've seen that totally mess someone's strategy up. Thank you for the suggestion though.

I usually put them in as support incase the Lootas and Burnas get into too close combat or go against something their weapons can't hurt. But I guess if that happens the Boyz haven't been doin their job eh?

i would drop the PK and armor because he should never be in CC. also he is not really needed in this list for the lack of vehicles

trukks can be stopped with a S4 weapon and this one will be a huge target will the MANZ in it! if i was you i would run them in battlewagon so there ride dose not get dropped turn 1.

ard boyz can cause some damage but you can run another full unit of boyz for the some price.

you can only have 3 big shootas if you have 30 boyz in your unit.

Thanks for the advice sickening. Some of it's really good.

I may redo the list a bit, make it more mechy. Drop the normal boy squad, trim the PK and stuff on the Mek and put him with a Battlewagon for the Burnaboyz.

I'd like a way to attach a Mek to the Meganobz too (which would also be cruising with the Warboss) but I can't think of one. It's still pretty tough though, and with Grots it'd be able to fix itself.

And with that I could carry even MORE Meganobz! AND maybe some Deff Dreds! Makes me giddy.

I wana keep the 'ard Boyz though. And the Koptaz. The Koptaz are actually really awesome though, since they're so flexible. With the bomb and the big shootaz it looks like they could wreck infantry, whilst with the TL Rokkitz they could put a hurting on big mean monsters/mechs/tanks.
