I've just started collecting lizardmen and have my first battalion in front of me and I am confronted with the following dilemma:

Should I assemble my saurus warriors with spears or hand weapons for my first 20 models?

I'm looking for advice from WHFB veterans as I've only just entered the hobby, I am really confused here

Spears.

Spears , because they have 2 attacks , which is excellent for 2nd rank , because they have low ini , spear makes sure they'll have plenty to strike back with.
