I am thinking, after playing with the new 'dex, that I really like the standard assault marines. I want to build my 2500 around that.

HQ. I ran a generic chappy and it wasn't bad, but at 2500 what flying special says you can't play without me? He has to join squads and should be
ew - that narrows it a bit.
I *really* like the grey knight style wrist bolters. My dilemma is that I should have all of the anti- infantry from troops covered with the fc+
fnp assault squads, so my elite choices need to focus on anti
mc, armor, and storm shield terminator. I will take 3 of the fellas that grant fc and
fnp. What 2 elite slots are really good at killing fatties and tanks?
Troops will be 6 10 man assault squads with a
pf champ, 3 with 2 x melta and 3 with 2 x flamer. They will travel in pairs and each pair will get one of the elite fc=
fnp guys.
Fast will probably be 3 baals
Heavy will likely be 3 predators
I will rework this into a points based list this afternoon (when i can get my hands back on the codex.)
Is there anything in the codex that can assault the turn it deep strikes in ( other than being dropped from the fire magnet?)
