I guess there will appear a 3rd codex in this year.
The codex will be some xenos, particularly Tau or Necrons.

Next will be tau or necron I think.
But obviously Inquisition models & Codex are disappearing.

Harry's saying that Dark Eldar are coming between GD2k10 and December and that DE/Grey Knight/Sister/Necron players will be happy with the coming months. He's always been rather reliable regarding rumors, so there you go.

You know, with the wings all over the Blood Angels, maybe they will look good as Dark Angels, too (that continues the Angel Theme).

Like many others, I have no idea what's next. Of course, everyone knows that Dark Eldar and Necrons badly need an update, but just because they need it doesn't mean they're gonna get it.

Hopefully all of the 3E codices get updates before anything with a 4E one does. I mean, can they really do another CC/mobility loyalist chapter AGAIN?

I'm hoping the next releases go

-3E Xeno update (DE or Crons)
-Inquisition
-the other 3E update
-4E loyalist chapter or CSM
-Tau

I've noticed a lot of "I've heard rumors about X" stuff on these and other forums are more often than not the result of some nobody wishlisting and posting it as verified by some source.

Pretty much all of the reputable sources I've heard put =][= as the next codex, or possibly DE or 'crons.

Fleet Based Marines -- BT are the largest fleet based chapter in the imperium
Very nice stuff winging its way -- The blood angels all heard a bell ring and got their wings for this codex. I think the nice stuff has already winged its way. Sanguinary Guard, Sanguinor, Astorath, etc.

Maybe so. Other see it as:

"BA are only half the story" - alludes to the old Angels of Death Codex, where DA and BA were in the same book.

"Fleet-based marines" - refer to the Rock.

"Winging its way in our direction" - Angels, winged.

But, at the end of the day, we'll just have to wait and see.

Gak, more Marines. Please give the DE, Necrons, Tau, and/or Inquisition some love first.

That sounds reasonable. However, considering BA and DA together, there is no story. The chapters don't have really anything to do with eachother in the background material except the name.

Alternatively it refers to the Black Templar fleets.

Perhaps, or it just means the fleet that is winging, so it can also mean the BT. However, noone else has suggested that this might actually mean kit for a model, specifically the Storm Raven. If that kit is ever coming, it very well might be a T-Hawk box with some bits for all 'variants' including the BA specific Storm Raven.

Finally I'd like to add that the Inquisition book would make a whole lot more sense than anything else at this point. A plastic SoB kit sculpted by Jes or Juan for example would sell insanely well especially if combined with some updated rules. Who wouldn't want to play an army full of sexy space hotties in tights, fully upgraded with silicone implants and oversized bolters? I remember when Blizzard Entertainment released some statistics about how something like 85% of all WoW characters are female, and a vast majority of that the pretty races. If all other things are equal, the average geek would pick a female 'Space Marine' over a male Space Marine.

While I enjoy being a black sheep in the GW family I whole heartedly agree that we deserve some attention more *3E books* than some pasty faced humans hopped up on prayer and steroids.

For those throwing out speculation, I suggest reading the last thread on this topic: you will find many of your ideas have already been shot down in flames... repeatedly.

I really hope templars are still years away. We need like 3 non marine dexs before the next marine book.

Update tau, necrons, and craftworld eldar or inquisition, preferably inquisition. Make it one big codex with all three groups.

Inquisition is next, combined Daemon and Witch Hunters.

Right now there are rumours for practically every remaining army going. GW certainly succeeded in effecting a lockdown.

Most frequent ones I've seen around (I always measure rumor validity based on how often they appear and how similar they are) say Inquisition, be that Grey Knights, Sisters or both.

Jes Goodwin has confirmed that he is working on DE models (see: Games Workshop design studio podcast: Interveiw with Jes Goodwin) But he has admitted he is a slow worker and he does not want to release something half-assed.

this was released 3/12/08.

also members have stated they have seen the models BUT as with all internet sources you have to be careful.

no it's DE towards the end of the year beginning of next year then the =I=
