I visited a hobby / model shop and saw MANY MANY excellent military kits that would look so good as
either IG artillery / hydra platform / ork tanks.

But which scale exactly is good? 1/42 and 1/35?

I know many kits are very detailed with interior mechanics etc etc, but im very bad at assembling things ><
is there a company that produces low pieces easy to assemble kits similar to warhammer kits? I dont need fancy open up interior etc etc

Woo , that link has good size comparison too bad no warhammer model in it :'/

Airfix i saw them in the shop , really cheap too.
Only thing stopping me from trying a box is not sure about the size and how hard it is to assemble ( my IG converted chimera was a nightmare for me to assemble )

As said earlier, try the toy stores. There are a lot of good military and sci fi type vehicles that work wellin 40k and they won't cost a lot.
A friend of mine placed 6th with Orks in 'Ard boyz and some of his trucks were toy store finds that cost him about $10 each and only needed some minor kit bashing.

I tried the toy store route , http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/283517.page
Its hard ><

Relapse has a good point about the toystore

Revell do some snap fit Star Wars kits of which some may be adapted? not that familiar with Star Wars prequels 1 2 or 3 or whatever they were called
(Send in the Clones?)

I bought this

And realized the only warhammer thing it can work for is Tau...
then i remember the only Tau i have are Kroots.

Its the funneh!

use a fairly thin card
cement at one end of the card- say at the rearward end
let it cure
cement front end and let cure
being orkish needn't worry too much about skinning the complex curves- it would be a good project to practice on as if it goes wrong then stck another metal panel on- it's ork tech after all

How long is the cure process?
because during the capillary action when i glue the other side , it seems to detach the previous glued area :<
