Okay, this disturbed me and was really shocking.

If you check the Games Workshop web site as of now, Tuesday, March 11, 2010, at 7:14 PST, half of the space marine KEY sets are painted as Blood angels. HALF, as in termies, Tacs, the Commander set, Rhinos, Razorbacks, and maybe a few others. Now, I am no fan of the Ultra's, but they are THE space marines. They are the poster boys. I dont remember this happening for Space wolves. Their sets were painted as puppys, but that was it. Blood angles have their own sets, quite a few I might add. Why did they need to repaint some BEAUTIFUL sets of the online store. It really bugs me that they did that, because, well, I was used to the Ultra's. I didnt always agree with em, but they were they, and they had my back. Now they got replaced be these new guys. Well, that ends my little rant. I really had to tell someone. What do you guys think?

I can't wait to buy one of these, open the box, peek at the sprues, and then put it back in the box and store it unpainted for years.

Doesn't really bother me, and I wonder why they didn't do this before actually, showing off that you can take something normal and paint it the way you want actually. To tell the

truth they should have a button or something showing what they would look like painted with different chapter colors such as Black Templar's, Space Wolves , etc.

But hey what can you do.

This is good.... isn't it?

This is a big step forward for Games Workshop! Maybe they'll quit leaning on the crutch that is the Ultramarines soon?

...Nah.

they should have different chapters on each box, suited to thier role, e.g: raven guard for assault marines, imperial fists for assault termies, iron hands for techmarines, ect.

JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.
corpsesarefun: Thank god I missed be nice to shrike day.
greenskin lynn: because of all the skittles and soda, you basically live off sugar water, like some sort of freakish human-hummingbird hybrid.

Well if you can convince over one million people to buy dark eldar or something then you will get a move on, but as long as a majority purchase or screw marines then you are stuck, as for me the reason why I started playing was the muscle twitching super men that could punch a daemon in the face and drop kick them into orbit, Algebraic!

This is good.... isn't it?

You can still click over to show them in ultramarines colors once you are on that product's page. It's only in the general catalog that you can't.

Haha yeah I had noticed that the day the BA stuff was up. I think they just did it to help push the models. Odds are whenever another chapter comes out they will show up as there colors as well.

Don't worry they will be blue again when the Ultramarine Game / movie comes out.
