So if Blood Angels and Space Wolves are getting very unique and elite units that seem to be their background/fluff in its extreme in model form, what will the Dark Angels (or Black Templars) get?

I'm not saying that Black Templars or Dark Angels will be the next marine Codex and I'd rather this didnt turn into a debate about the release schedule etc...

... I'm just wondering what kind of unit these two chapters would gain access to providing GW works like it is atm. So what would you reckon to be the equivalent of Thunderwolf Cavalry or Sanguinary Guard for Dark Angels and/or Black Templars?

For me, the only thing that springs to my mind, considering I don't know too much about these two armies, I'd imagine the Dark Angels would get something like an originally named unit of "Dark Hunters" or something which are basically an elite squad (geared up termies or semi-chaplains?!) focused on hunting the Fallen...

Dark Angels already have 2 very specialized formations, these being the raven wing and the death wing.

The master of the raven wing was the last major release for the Dark Angels, and you can already get raven wing and death wing models. Not to mention themed units for use with standard marines.

The Blood Angels haven't had anything like this yet (OK so they have the death company but you can never use more 10 of them at once.

For Black Templar's, I imagine we'll go some goofy new Land Raider variant...

And no one better make the "For Dark Angels Riding Dark Angels" joke!

I imagine Dark Angels might get some new Land Speeder variants. I would seem fitting.

Dark Angels already have their special schtick, but it would be nice to see something that makes dark angels that aren't deathwing or ravenwing worth playing.

I wouldn't be too shocked if black templars got some kind of new dreadnought which is some kind of artifact that lets them do special things or enhance the warriors around them. As far as new land raider variants go, the crusader already is their thing.

Maybe black templar will get a unit tender, vulnerable choir boys.

After reading all the freakin ridiculous benefits the BA's get, I just...I just don't know.

Obviously some kinda of ridiculous Emperor's Champion? Assault rhino's?
