So I like Iron Hands, but it seems that not a lot of people play them or at least model them. I did a search and found stuff from about two years ago, and most of the pictures were just broken links.

So I was wanting to see your Iron Hands Space Marines, especially if you have pictures of them before you painted so we can see how you did the bionic upgrades that all the marines have to have.

Also, I know that this hobby is expensive. So if you have an idea about a cheap way you convert them then put it on the board.

So start posting away!

A lot of people use bits of guitar string for convincing cabling for their Iron Hands. That, some plasticard and greenstuff can get you a really long way. That's the cheapest way I've seen to convert them anywho.

I have seen the guitar wires used. Do they pin them? or is normal super flue strong enough to hold?

^Not that funny. You make typos too. I think that guitar string is a great idea, I never really thought of that. Anyway, I use Gorilla Super Glue, and that holds fine. You may have to hold it for a couple of seconds until the glue starts to bond, but Gorilla Glue has held everything I've thrown at it so far so that should work.

The best adivce I can offer would be to buy these in place of normal tactical squads. They come with lots of metal bionics bits, as well as IH shoulder pads.

Use lots of gears and cogs to add some extra detail to your marines The best choice would be watch cogs and gears because of their small size

those are nice Commander Endova but I was looking for some conversions. So the army was more personalized and such. I do love the GW models, especially the Iron Father they had.

Whats a good place to get clock gears?

You can go to your local hardware store and in the section where they have gears, washers, and screws they have toothed washers that look like gears. They're really cheap (like, 7 cents each). I use them for scenery, but they would work great IMO for Iron Hands.

^Those are really cool. What with the different colored squads, though?

It was my main playing army/ tournie army and I wanted it to be easy to play with! Eg a big assult with different black units together it gets hard to tell the squads appart but with the colours it's easy!
