Good starter colors for Dark Angels Green?

Well i was wondering how should I start my models if i want a dark angels green, but I don't really want them to be very dark and no color. Any Suggestions?

Orkhide Shade is a perfect match, if a bit dark.

So you want the final color to be Dark Angels Green or a color that looks like that? Or do you want to know a Dark Angels scheme? You didn't really give us enough details, no offense.

Well I want the final over coat to be Dark Angels Green.
Plus my 10th company makes me have a Greenphobia, ever since its company color is Catachens Green.

and i'm not the best at highlighting, i'm good at the base coats and everything else. but my hand is too shaky to hold a point for 1 second.

Then you want Orkhide Shade. It's darker than Dark Angels Green and gives a good coverage.

Orkhide Shade as the basecoat for the armor plates.

For future reference: I find highlights to be far, far too overt. If you have a palette or empty paint jars...make a 'weathered' color.

For example, say you want to do a model in Dark Angels Green. Start off with Orkhide Shade as the base color. Then, apply a mix of 75% Orkhide Shade to 25% Dark Angels Green. Once that dries, 50/50 mix of the same, then 25/75. It gives you a far more interesting look, and it cuts down on having the extreme highlights you usually would see otherwise.

If your hand is shaky, don't put too much paint on the brush, and use the side instead of the tip.
