Even if you have a million ork models in a single unit, if that ork unit is hit by lash of submission, that ork unit will be moved.

Just because the Chaos player might get tired moving all of the ork models doesn't mean the power doesn't work.

Of course you can. Even better, if you field an army with multiple Lashes in it, the Green Tide will find itself retreating back to the sea faster than it gets to you

Lash causes no wounds, so the cover save does no good. Except maybe making the Orks dance in a more pleasing manner.

From GW 40k rulebook FAQ:

Q. Do psychic shooting attacks grant cover saves?
A. Yes, as long as they cause wounds. Cover saves
are taken against wounds caused by psychic
shooting attacks, not against any other ‘weirder’
effects of the psychic power.

He means that because the unit has a 5+ cover save, they can live through more blasts than if they had just a 6+ Armour.
