Subject: Sponson Mounted Weapon Apex ?

So I'm looking in the big red book at page 59, the diagram about Sponson Mounted Weapons Arc.
My friend has a landraider so this question in pertaining to the LR's two twin-link lascannons.
Is there an apex straight ahead of the vehicle where the two points meet? And thus can the tank fire both lascannons at one target?
If so, what distance is that? 12" from the tank? More? Just agree about it before game ?
|
That being said, I could be wrong. |

Yes, there is. Take a Tape Measure and use the edge to find out where it us.

If your sponsons are on the front then it's fairly close - at the back it's a long way away.

An apex is something's highest point. A vertex is the intersection of two lines.

Playing Space Marine demo while GF was scrapbooking:
Me: I can turn it down, if the screams of dying orks are annoying you.
Her: That's ok, I love hearing the screams of dying orks.
My armies (W-D-L):
2,000 (about 1,200 painted and now I'm feeling the call of Russ) 3-4-3
