Quick Questions, Silver Skulls, GW Chainmail or Boltgun? I want then darker than Mithril for sure even with a Badab wash. Mobile Armor, I am thinking paint the doors Chainmail or Boltgun tape off a big chapter symbol then a full coat of black,magic! Black Rhino with big Silver Skull on the door. Who is going to drive around a big shiny silver Rhino...gaudy! Right?

On a big surface you need more than just a flood wash to get it looking good.
If you take it to mithril and then use black and blue wash over it that will help.
You need to layer the washes to get a graduation to the highlights and rehighlight with mithril to make it pop

Use Boltgun Metal, highlight with Chainmail, and then give it a heavy Badab Black wash. That's how I do my metal ares, and it seems like it would work just fine for Silver Skulls.
