For that matter, what about the Medusa? The Medusa looks like it has a turret, but not so much as the Manticore. I have not physically handled the Forgeworld Manticores so I do not know if they are capable of swiveling. I would not want to take advantage of modeling to model my Manticores on turrets if they cannot normally do so (as it stands, I have them hull-mounted because I wanted to play it safe.)

I would assume that they are turret mounted.

No, the Medusa is a fixed weapon, the extra armour around it makes it look like it's turret mounted.

On second look, I would agree with this. THe Manticore is clearly turret mounted however.

Yup, on the Medusa you can see where the pseudo-turret is anchored to the main hull in the front. The Manticore appears to have a turret.

Manticore = turret mounted missiles ( also available from FW: the "turret" and missiles as gun empacement instead of a tracked vehicle)
Medusa = SPG . Self propelled artillery has fixed guns. The Medusa in the pic is an upgraded one, enclosed crew compartment ( sp? ).
